Eidolon Nursery does not use cookies. We do not set any cookies on your browser — not for tracking, analytics, advertising, or any other purpose. This page explains the minimal browser storage we do use and why.
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. Many websites use cookies for analytics, advertising, and session management. Eidolon Nursery has chosen not to use cookies at all.
The Eidolon Nursery application uses your browser's localStorage — a technology that stores data only on your device and is never automatically sent to our servers (unlike cookies, which are sent with every request).
We store the following items in localStorage:

All of this data is stored exclusively on your device. It is never sent to third parties and is automatically cleared when you log out.
The only third-party service that interacts with your browser is Stripe, our payment processor. When you visit the registration page and proceed to payment, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies on their domain (stripe.com) to process your payment securely. Stripe's cookie practices are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Stripe cookies are only encountered if you go through the registration payment flow. They are not set during normal use of the Eidolon Nursery application.
Under UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), cookie consent banners are required when a website sets non-essential cookies. Since Eidolon Nursery does not set any cookies — and the localStorage items we use are strictly necessary for the application to function — no cookie consent banner is required.
